Granite Countertops

A beautiful granite countertop will elevate your entire kitchen. These natural stone, high-quality counters hold up against the most aggressive chefs. They are scratch resistant, impervious to stains, and are relatively low maintenance. We offer a full range of styles and colors and will design your granite to transform your kitchen into a modern culinary space.

What About Quartz Countertops?

Quartz is an ‘engineered’ stone, made up of about 90% ground quartz, marble, and other stone. And there are some advantages to that, including designed appearance, durability, and better strength than natural stone. Because it’s manufactured, there is an even wider variety of colors. While granite is also extremely durable, quartz won't chip or crack. It's a great option when you're ready to upgrade your kitchen countertops.

Granite versus Quartz

Both granite and quartz countertops are great options. We can help you decide which one will best fit your tastes, budget, and kitchen. But here are a few differences to consider:

  • Quartz is non-porous, while granite needs to be sealed to fill the pores.
  • Granite is natural stone, while quartz is engineered.
  • Granite is tough and will take the abuse, while quartz is susceptible to heat marks and some scratching.
  • Granite chips are easily repaired.
  • Costs are very similar, with granite topping out only on the high end.

Quartz and granite are both beautiful options for upgrading kitchen countertops. Let our design team help you find the best option for you.
